To avoid accidents, operators must follow safety operating procedures, standardize operations, and take appropriate safety measures when operating the hydrogel mixer.
The installation of the hydrogel mixer should be carried out by professionals according to the manufacturer's instructions, and a trial run should be organized under the supervision of technical personnel. Before the trial run, all technical performance indicators must meet the requirements and pass inspection before use. Rain shelters or thermal insulation shelters should be installed with insulated operating tables, fixed with brackets or support tubes, and the roof material should be impact-resistant.
The hydrogel mixer should be placed on a flat, solid site with good drainage around it. After placement, the support legs should be lowered, and the bracket should be raised to a level position, lifting the tires off the ground. If used for a long time, the tires should be removed and stored properly, and the ends of the axle should be wrapped with oil cloth and supported with wooden blocks.
For hydrogel mixers that require a feeding hopper, the surrounding area should be raised and compacted to prevent surface water from entering the pit. The bottom support surface of the feeding rail frame should be compacted or paved with bricks, and the rear of the rail frame should be supported with wood to prevent deformation during operation.
Before starting, check whether the clutch, brake, protective devices, wire rope track, and pulleys are intact, ensuring that the lifting bucket or shovel wire rope is installed correctly and that the drum is wound securely.
When the hydrogel mixer is running, do not reach into the mixing drum with hands or tools to scrape out materials. When the funnel is raised, do not stay under or pass through the funnel. After work is completed, the funnel should be secured. When maintenance or cleaning of the material pit is needed under the hopper, the hopper must be lifted and locked with a chain or pinned.
