2020 was an extraordinary year. We, who fought against the pandemic and the floods, were not defeated by reality. We strictly followed orders so as not to be defeated by these repeated setbacks. During this time, we were inspired by the strength, bravery, and fearless spirit of our white-clad warriors; we were moved by the soldiers who never backed down in the fight against the floods. They are the most lovable people in the world. As the pace of the COVID-19 pandemic gradually slows and the floods recede, we notice how strong and majestic the backs of those soldiers are. They have created a pure land for all of us with their small bodies. These "most lovable people" are sacrificing themselves to fulfill the mission of serving the greater good!
Time flies, and we have arrived in August. Finally, we have a moment to say thank you to these most lovable people! August 1st is Army Day, which was established after the success of the Nanchang Uprising led by the Communist Party of China on August 1, 1927. This year marks the 93rd anniversary of Army Day. As a Chinese citizen, I am proud and sincerely want to thank all the soldiers and healthcare workers fighting on the front lines!
